• Total in-home Preservation Services. After understanding your goals and conducting a thorough assessment of your collection, we develop a personalized plan to preserve your history. We organize your collection, then safely protect and store it using proven archival practices and materials. We also help you choose images for Photobooks, digital restoration and archival reprints. Includes The Preserve-it Kit (below)
• Introduction to Preservation. During this consultation, we assess your collection, teach you archiving and cataloguing basics, and break down the process into manageable steps. We then can work alongside you until you feel confidant and comfortable to continue the project yourself. Includes The Preserve-it Kit (below)
• The Preserve-it Kit™. Prefer to handle it on your own? Jump-start your project with the basic materials and comprehensive instructions you need. The Kit includes: step-by-step instructions for each phase of preservation; photo handling gloves; archival pen/pencil set; and temporary sorting boxes and dividers (to borrow during the organization process).
